Hi, my name is Valentijn.
Six years ago I moved to Amsterdam and bought my first camera.
I started taking photos out of curiosity and soon noticed how much I enjoyed it. What began as a hobby grew into something I took more and more seriously. Today, photography is not only something I love to do, it's also my work. And that makes it even more fun.
I've now completed more than 80 assignments and kept expanding my equipment. What has always stayed the same is my interest in people, special moments and the stories you can tell with images.
Alongside photography, I studied Psychology and Business Administration at VU Amsterdam. So I don't just look at the people in front of my lens, I also understand what it takes to capture the right moments and the right story.
